Megan Fox has made a statement on the recent breakup rumours about her and Machine Gun Kelly.

The Jennifer's Body actress returned to Instagram today, one week after she posted a cryptic message quoting the Beyoncé's Lemonade track "Pray You Catch Me" and subsequently deleted her account. Her profile now consists of one post, in which the star addresses rumors that Kelly may have been unfaithful.

"There has been no third-party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to...actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons," she wrote, in a screenshot taken from the Notes app this morning.

"While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now," she continued.

Much of the speculation around the cause of the couple's rift was based on the Lemonade post, since Fox quoted the iconic album about Beyoncé's husband Jay-Z's infidelity. Her post included a clip of mementos burning in a fire, with the caption, "You can taste the dishonesty/it’s all over your breath."

Before she deleted her account, Fox replied to a commenter on the post suggesting Kelly cheated with a woman named "Sophie," saying maybe it was her who "got with" Sophie. Fans guessed the name was referencing Kelly's guitarist Sophie Lloyd, and Fox's new statement appears to defend the musician against false rumours.

"Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue," Lloyd's management team said to Page Six last week. "It's disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else."
