Jennifer Lopez Pairs Sheer Top With Tartan Pleated Skirt For A Date With Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez's affinity for bold prints isn't slowing down.
This past weekend, the Marry Me actress was spotted spending time with Ben Affleck in Beverly Hills. For the occasion, J.Lo layered a black blazer over a black sheer top, but it was her pleated skirt that took center stage, with the material splitting from the traditional red-and-black tartan to a punk rock-esque green-and-purple plaid. She accessorized with some bracelets, the Hermès Constance shoulder bag in red, and a pair of black velvet platform boots by Alaïa.
Meanwhile, the Argo star also looked fittingly stylish during their outing, wearing a monochrome outfit. He sported a navy blue coat with a matching button-up and trousers, as well as dark-colored oxfords.

J.Lo has been on a tartan streak lately. Recently, the "Jenny from the Block" singer shared two outfits featuring plenty of plaid. In one look, she posed in red-and-black pieces from Roberto Cavalli's pre-fall 2022 collection, including a sweater embellished with rhinestones and wide-leg trousers. Even her stiletto boots and shoulder bag bore the plaid pattern.
"Plaid girls club 💋🖤❤️," she aptly captioned the photos on Instagram.

And in an earlier look, she showed off another major tartan moment while promoting Marry Me, her forthcoming rom-com with Owen Wilson. Posing in front of a Los Angeles billboard featuring the movie's poster, J.Lo wore a red, black, and camel plaid blazer coat with a matching pleated skirt, as well as a black scoop-neck top and over-the-knee heeled leather boots.
